Would you believe? Most deaths occur due to mosquito bites. Recently, when crores of these mosquitoes were seen flying in the city of Pune (Mosquito Tornado Pune), India, it seemed as if they had come with their entire army to attack the city. So is seeing mosquitoes in such large numbers a matter of danger? Actually these are not mosquitoes, but insects that look like them.
Recently, the video of these insects flying which look like mosquitoes (Mosquitoes viral video) is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this video, crores of mosquitoes are seen flying in Pune. People say that this is an attack by mosquitoes. A user named Rakesh Nayak posted a video related to this incident on social media and gave information about it. The person tagged the Municipal Corporation of Pune and criticized them in a sarcastic manner. He wrote- “Thank you to Pune Municipal Corporation for giving a special gift in the form of a storm of mosquitoes in lieu of taxes to the citizens living in Keshav Nagar, Pune.”

These mosquito like insects were seen in the video
In the video you can see that mosquitoes are flying in crores of numbers. Together they are forming a straight line which is going upwards like an arrow in the air. You will also hear strange sounds in the video. People have expressed surprise at the video by commenting and said that this looks a very scary scene. Some people said that how would people be able to live? Let us tell you that recently the list of the cleanest cities of the country was released by the government, in which Pune was ranked 10th. In such a situation, it is even more surprising that so many mosquitoes are seen in a city included in the list of clean cities.
Is this a danger sign?
Now the question arises whether this is a sign of any danger, or is it a common thing. Talking to news website Indian Express, retired professor of zoology, Dr. Hemant Ghate said that this is not a rare sight or a sign of danger. This is happening because of dirty drains which are not being cleaned. He said that these insects are not actually mosquitoes, but are a mosquito-like creature. Their larvae are similar to the larvae of mosquitoes. But it is red because their blood also contains hemoglobin. They occur in dirty water and are in large numbers in the Mula-Mutha river.
